Job summary

VHB in Orlando, FL is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to lead site/civil engineering projects across residential, institutional, healthcare, and industrial sectors. You will coordinate design teams, oversee client relations, and ensure regulatory permitting.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and Florida PE licensure (or planned within 6 months). We offer a competitive base salary of 95k–115k with a comprehensive benefits package and a hybrid work

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related degree.
• 5+ years of increasing engineering experience on complex projects.
• PE licensure in Florida or obtain within 6 months.
• Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design, and stormwater management.

Responsibilities

• Develop site/civil engineering plans and specifications for diverse projects.
• Support preparation of land development design and permitting documents.
• Responsible for project financial performance and client relations.
• Prepare and review drawings and specifications documenting the systems designed.
• Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to discuss design/permitting needs.
• Supervise design team activities during Construction Administration.
• Manage work and development of junior staff.
• Manage small, medium, or large projects.
• Develop new project opportunities and manage proposal submissions.
