Beechen & Dill Homes in Burr Ridge, IL, is seeking a Land Acquisition Specialist to support the identification and evaluation of residential land opportunities across Chicago's western and southern suburbs. This hybrid, full-time role offers hands-on experience in market research, due diligence, and transaction support.

You will work with leadership and industry partners to build a land pipeline, perform preliminary financial assessments, and coordinate due diligence, while traveling locally to

Qualifications

• 0-3 years in real estate or related field (land development, finance, urban planning).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Engineering or related fields.
• Willingness to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Research potential residential land opportunities and development areas.
• Assist with maintaining the land acquisition pipeline.
• Research ownership, zoning, land use, market conditions and development considerations.
• Assist with preliminary financial analysis, budgets, and acquisition evaluations.
• Coordinate due diligence activities (title, environmental, zoning, surveys).
• Support communication with landowners, brokers, municipalities and consultants.
• Assist with letters of intent and purchase agreements.
• Track acquisition activities, deadlines and next steps.
• Prepare research and summaries for company leadership.
• Visit prospective properties and attend meetings in the Chicago suburbs.
• Collaborate with development, construction, finance, legal and outside consultants.
