AmLaw 100 International Law Firm in Los Angeles and San Francisco seeks a mid to senior-level Associate Attorney for its Labor & Employment Group. The role focuses on wage and hour class actions, with hybrid in-office work four days a week and collaboration across CA offices.

Candidates should have CA Bar admission, 3–5 years of employment litigation experience, and strong research/writing skills. Opportunity to handle sophisticated disputes and trial work in a premier practice.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active California Bar in good standing.
• 3–5 years of employment litigation experience.
• Extensive experience defending wage and hour claims, including class actions.
• Strong legal research and writing skills with ability to produce high-quality work.
• Experience drafting key legal documents and managing discovery.
• Desire for trial work and willingness to engage in trials.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex employment litigation, including defense of wage & hour claims and wage-and-hour class actions.
• Draft and refine pleadings, motions, class certification briefs, and related filings.
• Participate in trials and contribute to trial preparation.
• Manage and oversee discovery, including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on evolving class action issues.
• Maintain clear, client-ready communication and provide practical guidance.
