L'Oreal USA, Inc in New York is offering a 12-month internship for a Jr. Supply Chain Associate to support leadership in optimizing service levels and inventory.

You will help ensure accurate demand planning and a reliable production plan for the brand you manage. The role requires a recent Bachelor's in Supply Chain or Business, 0-1 year experience, strong analytical and MS Office skills, plus teamwork and fast-paced prioritization capabilities.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business.
• 0-1 year of supply chain experience.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze data.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Strong problem solving skills to troubleshoot issues.
• Strong communication skills; communicate effectively and work well in team structures.
• Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes while prioritizing to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail.
• 12- month internship.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role
• Being present in the office three days a week is considered an essential function of all office-based roles for eligible full-time employees

Responsibilities

• Manage the development, review and implementation of an accurate forecast to drive the continuous improvement of the demand planning and inventory management processes and systems.
• Monitor performance vs. the forecast throughout the month identifying any key shifts or trends.
• Analyze forecast variation/deviation with the goal to minimize out of stocks and prevent the build of excess & obsolete inventory.
• Interact with supply planning partners to identify forecast deviation and/or supply chain constraints.
• Monthly reporting of KPIs
• AD Hoc Reporting
• Lead/participate in special projects as needed.
