Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks a Junior Scrum Master to guide Minotaur software teams in implementing agile practices. This hybrid role is based in Columbia, MD, and requires a proactive leader capable of motivating others and driving continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in agile principles, a willingness to obtain Scrum certifications, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
• Strong interest to obtain Scrum certifications such as CSM, SSM, or CSP.
• Familiarity with Jira and agile tooling.
• Understanding of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Help remove obstacles and improve team workflows.
• Coach team on agile principles and foster continuous learning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals and provide guidance.
• Monitor progress and report on team performance.
