Poms & Associates is seeking a Junior Account Manager to support Account Executives in managing a portfolio of small commercial accounts. You will build carrier relationships, assist with renewals, and drive growth while developing advanced client-management skills.

Ideal candidates hold an active P&C license, a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), and 4+ years in commercial insurance. The role offers hybrid work with quarterly HQ visits to Calabasas, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• Minimum four years of commercial insurance experience.
• Progress toward a professional designation.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and account servicing.

Responsibilities

• Independently service an assigned book of small commercial accounts.
• Build and maintain client, carrier, and underwriter relationships.
• Support renewal planning, retention efforts, and account growth initiatives.
• Review policies, endorsements, and coverage recommendations for accuracy.
• Assist with proposals, submissions, and marketing efforts; mentor CSR team.
• Support service quality and complex account servicing activities.
