Job summary

Avnet is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in Tempe, AZ (Hybrid – 3 days in office per week) who will collaborate with business partners to define requirements for new and enhanced systems. The role focuses on translating business needs into system data and interfaces while supporting system integrations.

Responsibilities include documenting specifications, leading cross-functional discussions, and ensuring solutions align with stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Typically less than 2 years with bachelor's or equivalent.
• Strong EDI experience, including common EDI transaction sets and integrations.
• Understanding of API concepts and experience supporting system integrations.
• Exposure to AI tools or AI-enabled business processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify stakeholders' business requirements during development and implementation of new systems.
• Analyze and translate requirements into system specifications and data needs.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to address business problems or system issues.
• Document business requirements and system specifications for development teams.
• Collaborate with management and team members to ensure solution alignment.
