Jobot is seeking a dynamic Junior Associate Attorney in Meriden, CT to join our fast-paced civil and commercial litigation practice. The ideal candidate has a JD and 1–3 years of experience, with CT Bar admission and a willingness to handle a high caseload.

This permanent, hybrid role offers a generous salary range, extensive training, courtroom exposure from day one, and opportunities for partner track as part of a collaborative team.

Formación

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 1–3 years of experience in general litigation.
• Admission to the Connecticut Bar; admission in surrounding states a plus.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

Responsabilidades

• Handling a variety of complex legal matters in general, civil, and commercial liability.
• Assisting senior attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Representing clients in court and advocating on their behalf.
• Negotiating settlements in civil litigation cases.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and changes in law that may affect clients' cases.
