Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP in San Juan, PR, is seeking a Systems/Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for applications, with emphasis on automation and reliability.

The role requires 4–6 years of hands-on experience with Jenkins, Groovy, and DevOps practices, and a strong ability to troubleshoot deployment issues in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work arrangement requires 2 days per week in the office.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Typically 4–6 years of experience in software engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and Jenkins Pipeline.
Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
Experience with Groovy for Jenkins Pipeline scripting.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for build, test, deployment, and release automation.
Create and maintain Jenkinsfile / Pipeline-as-Code implementations using Declarative or Scripted Pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline failures, build issues, deployment problems, and performance bottlenecks.
Monitor build and deployment pipelines and improve reliability, scalability, and security.
Participate in incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
