Saragossa is hiring a Java Software Engineer for a Middle Office greenfield platform in New York City. You’ll build and own core services handling trades, positions, and near-real-time P&L, using Java, Kafka, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Kubernetes.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding and architecture decisions within a multi-year tech transformation. The team values strong OO design, distributed systems experience, and finance familiarity, with four days in the office and one day remote in a hybrid

Formación

• Solid Java development experience.
• Kafka knowledge and event-driven architecture fundamentals.
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience building distributed systems; financial services knowledge helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to a greenfield investment platform in Middle Office.
• Help ensure accurate, timely P&L and trade data across systems.
• Participate in technical decisions and own meaningful platform components.
• Collaborate across teams in a hybrid NYC-based setup.
