Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Four years professional engineering; two years managing Electrical or ITS engineering projects.
• Selective Qualifications: special qualifications may apply; substitutions allowed per policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical studies for ITS/Electrical projects.
• Serve as project manager for large ITS/Electrical capital projects.
• Design coordination and review of study reports and drawings.
• Review construction documents such as RFIs, submittals, and as-built plans.
• Review SOWs for ITS/Electrical on-call tasks and coordinate with utilities.
• Coordinate with ITS/Electrical engineers and MDTA stakeholders; attend project meetings.
• Prepare engineering cost estimates and man-hour estimates.
• Perform field visits to various facility locations with consultants/contractors.
