Job summary

Advanced Management Group (AMG Nevada LLC) is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our technology team in Las Vegas, NV. This hybrid role supports design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure to ensure performance, security, and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in systems engineering or administration, strong Windows Server/AD expertise, and familiarity with Azure AD, Hyper-V, networking, scripting, and backup technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering or administration.
• Demonstrated expertise with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Preferred certifications such as MCSE or VCP.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, configuration management systems, or ITIL.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud environments.
• Implementing system configurations that align with business objectives.
• Performing regular system monitoring and maintenance.
• Ensuring high availability of critical services.
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Supporting system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle maintenance.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contributing to infrastructure projects from conception through implementation.
• Assisting in coordinating project timelines and ensuring deliverables align with operational needs.
• Participating in disaster recovery processes.
• Supporting security best practices and helping ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable standards.
