Job summary

MPI is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a growing IT team supporting US manufacturing sites. You will build and configure Windows servers, VMs and cloud services, collaborating with a Senior Systems Engineer and a Systems Administrator.

This role includes integrating Workday with a hybrid Active Directory, and requires strong Windows, AD, virtualization, PowerShell, SQL Server, and Microsoft 365 expertise, along with Entra ID and CA.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years experience as a Systems Engineer.
Extensive working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory, plus virtualization experience.
Microsoft 365 and Azure Exchange Online Administration experience.
Entra ID, MFA & Conditional Access expertise.
Hands-on backup and recovery experience, monitoring jobs, fixing failures, and performing restores.
PowerShell scripting experience.
Strong SQL Server administration experience.
Customer-first mindset and a strong communicator.
Working comfort with AI tools in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

Build and configure Windows servers, virtual machines, and Microsoft cloud services to support manufacturing sites across the US.
Work closely with a Senior Systems Engineer and help support a Systems Administrator as well.
Be responsible for the building and running the integration between Workday and their hybrid Active Directory environment.
Put the customer first and be a core member of the Infrastructure team.
