Job summary

Austin Health Partners is seeking a Systems Administrator to support IT infrastructure across multiple sites in the greater Austin area. You will manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, network services, backups, and Google Workspace to ensure reliable operations.

This role blends hands-on maintenance with process improvement in a hybrid work setting (2 days in the office, 3 days at home). The team values proactive monitoring, security, and clear IT procedures that help clinicians

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in Windows Systems Administration.
• Understand networking, TCP/IP, switch configurations and firewall settings.
• Active Directory management, group policy, security groups.
• End user support experience.
• Familiarity with OSI model troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance / administration of: Windows Server 2016/2019 and Active Directory environment.
• LAN / WAN / Wireless network infrastructure.
• Corporate phone systems.
• Design of system backups / recovery.
• Cloud based services i.e Google Workspace.
• Software licensing.
• Addresses end user service requests.
• Creation / removal of end user accounts including Active Directory, Google Workspace and Phone/Voicemail setup.
• PC hardware / software installation and maintenance.
• Develop / streamline IT procedures for frequently performed tasks.
• Troubleshoots printer / copier issues.
• Checks backup reports daily.
• Ensures data is protected and remediates anomalies.
• Develop and create standardized work instructions for tasks used by department staff.
• Generate reports for management.
• Performs other IT related duties as requested.
