Job summary

Advantage Federal Credit Union in Rochester, NY is seeking a System Administrator to manage and secure our network and systems. You will lead configuration, testing, release management, and documentation, collaborating with business units to ensure reliability and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT experience, strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and security tools, and a proven ability to work both independently and in a small team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional IT support, systems administration, or related experience.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and security tooling knowledge.
• Certifications in Microsoft, Cloud, networking, or security are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments (Entra, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune).
• Manage users, licenses, MFA, and identity/access configurations.
• Deploy and support laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• Maintain documentation, perform patching and routine maintenance.
• Provide remote and onsite staff support; troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with security controls, disaster recovery, and incident remediation.
