SmartThings, a leading IoT ecosystem and Samsung subsidiary with offices in Minneapolis, seeks a Systems Administrator to support networking infrastructure and asset management. This 6-month contract role is hybrid, onsite 3 days a week in Minneapolis, MN, paying $42/hour and a 40-hour week.

You will handle IT tickets, assist with procurement, and help refine policies while collaborating with Samsung stakeholders and internal teams. A strong IT background and IAM familiarity are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of corporate IT experience.
• Experience installing software in multi-platform environments.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (email, chat, phone).
• Experience with day-to-day maintenance and monitoring of Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, basic networking, scripting/automation, and application troubleshooting.
• Exposure to virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts (AD, LDAP, SSO).

Responsabilidades

• Support and maintain company-wide IT networking, communications, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including counterparts at Samsung, to access key networks and tools.
• Assist with procurement and asset management for hardware and software.
• Support a highly mobile workforce and test new technologies for efficiency.
• Handle day-to-day IT support tickets and escalations per procedures.
• Help implement and maintain IT policies to protect assets.
• Work with People Team on onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Contribute ideas for internal solutions that scale the team.
