C.A. Fortune, a national consumer-centric integrated commerce agency, seeks an IT Support Specialist in Chicago, IL. The role supports onsite, remote, and hybrid employees and emphasizes strong communication and Microsoft 365 expertise.

You will manage end-user support, monitor cloud and on-prem infrastructure, train users, and contribute to cybersecurity practices. Hybrid schedule: in-office 3 days per week, with a salary of $65,000–$70,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 2 years IT field experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient supporting the full Microsoft 365 suite.
• Ability to train and instruct users of varying technical skill levels.
• Strong documentation skills: procedures, network information, and asset tracking.
• Experience with Android, iOS, and Windows mobile devices; MDM platform experience a plus.
• Experience with Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with basic cybersecurity/endpoint protection practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for onsite, remote, and hybrid hardware, installing software, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and training users on software and equipment.
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
• Triage issues and resolve them directly or route to the appropriate resource.
• Provide daily and weekly updates to the manager on project status, new user setups, and open issues.
• Manage day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of network and cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 and Entra ID/Active Directory.
• Administer and support the Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
• Support and help manage a mobile device management (MDM) platform for company-issued iOS, Android, and Windows devices.
• Support both Windows and Mac/Apple hardware.
• Design and deliver training sessions that drive adoption of new technologies, including AI tools.
• Provide proactive IT support: monitoring systems and flagging issues before they disrupt end users.
• Support basic cybersecurity practices: endpoint protection, phishing awareness, and patch management.
• Own new-hire and offboarding setup/teardown for desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones.
• Stay current on emerging technology, including AI tools, and help evaluate and pilot new solutions.
