Job summary

Orion Solutions is seeking a full-time Tier 1-Tier 2 Windows Desktop and System engineer based in Reston, Virginia. This position entails working on-site at various client locations for 50-75% of the time, setting up and configuring devices for new hires, and managing daily support requests. Candidates should have 4-5 years of experience with Microsoft Operating Systems, excellent communication skills, and a valid means of transportation. Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience troubleshooting issues with Microsoft OS.
• At least 2 years of experience in Windows environment, including Active Directory Services.
• Good understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting using OSI model layers.

Responsibilities

• Setup and configure laptops and workstations for new hires.
• Manage day-to-day support requests for end users.
• Assist in maintenance and enhancement of existing systems.
