Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Technology Services Analyst to provide support for agents and associates across platforms, including hardware, software, and applications. The role emphasizes timely, secure technology solutions and collaboration with IT teams.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year or less of tech experience, strong communication, and a willingness to learn AGSS/AGCM/PolicyCenter workflows. The role is hybrid with in-office days in Des Moines, IA and Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• One year or less of technology experience including some troubleshooting to fix a problem.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation are preferred.
• Insurance/financial services industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the first point of contact for associates and independent agents seeking technical assistance.
• Performs level 1 technical support to diagnose, analyze, research, and resolve tech issues via phone, web, and chat.
• Documents, prioritizes, and escalates issues to level 2 tech partners with data to investigate and resolve.
• Supports IT Service Management processes and helps maintain applications and equipment.

Education

Undergraduate studies in computer science / MIS or related field
