Job summary

Nexus Health Systems in Houston, TX seeks an IT Project Lead, Operations to own enterprise IT initiatives from intake through closeout, blending hands-on infrastructure engineering with formal project management. You will serve as a customer-facing liaison to executives, facility administrators, and operations leaders across Nexus facilities, communicating plans and securing delivery commitments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering, business management, or related field.
Minimum 3 years leading IT infrastructure or systems engineering initiatives.
Experience presenting to governance bodies and executives.

Responsibilities

Own assigned enterprise IT initiatives end to end, accountable for scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder alignment.
Lead delivery of non-clinical technology initiatives including infrastructure rollouts, security and badge access projects, platform migrations, and system integrations.
Coordinate concurrent projects within larger programs spanning IT functions, balancing priorities and timelines.
Develop budgets and resource plans; track progress and propose changes to PMO/IT leadership.
Create and maintain charters, workplans, RAID logs, risk registers, change logs, and post-implementation reviews.
