Job summary

Nexus Health Systems is seeking an IT Project Lead, Operations in Houston, TX. The role reports to the IT PMO and leads enterprise technology initiatives from intake to closeout while engaging executives, facility admins, and operational leaders across Nexus facilities.

The candidate will blend hands-on infrastructure engineering with formal project management, ensure governance, drive schedules and budgets, and deliver clear executive-ready reporting and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3–4 years hands-on infra or systems Eng to lead technical initiatives.
• 4+ years of demonstrated project management experience in IT initiatives.
• Certification: PMP or CompTIA Project+ required; obtain within 18 months if not present.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end enterprise IT initiatives within the IT PMO.
• Lead non-clinical tech projects including infrastructure rollouts, security, migrations.
• Coordinate multiple projects within programs; balance priorities and resources.
• Develop budgets and resource plans; track progress against plans.
• Create and maintain charters, RAID logs, risk registers, and post-implementation reviews.
