Job summary

Heritage Community Credit Union is seeking an IT Manager to lead a small IT team and oversee the reliable day-to-day operation of the technology environment in a hybrid role based in the Sacramento area.

The role emphasizes hands-on support, system administration, and collaboration with vendors while ensuring security, documentation, and efficient operations for the credit union's financial services applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on IT support, system administration, or infrastructure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for employee hardware, software, access, connectivity, and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Escalate and troubleshoot complex help desk and infrastructure issues to resolution.
• Administer Windows servers, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Monitor and support networks, firewalls, switches, VPNs, and wireless systems with vendor coordination.
• Manage endpoint configuration, patching, software deployment, and device inventory.
• Support core banking and digital banking systems and integrations with vendors.
• Execute routine system administration tasks: backups, maintenance, logs, and permissions.
• Coordinate backups, DR planning, testing, and recovery procedures.
