Heritage Community Credit Union (HCCU) is seeking an IT Manager to lead a small IT team while hands-on supporting users, administering systems, and ensuring reliable operations. The role reports to the CIO and blends strategic planning with daily technical execution in a hybrid Sacramento-area environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of IT experience, strong Microsoft 365/AD/Entra ID expertise, and familiarity with regulated environments.

Competenze

Five or more years of hands-on IT support, system administration, or infrastructure experience.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, and Windows endpoints.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, switching, and network troubleshooting.
Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and backup, recovery, monitoring, and endpoint-management tools.
Cybersecurity fundamentals including least privilege, MFA, patching, endpoint protection, and incident response.
Experience in financial institutions or regulated environments preferred.

Mansioni

Provide hands-on technical support for employee hardware, software, access, connectivity, and line-of-business apps.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex help desk and infrastructure issues; troubleshoot and resolve.
Administer and maintain Windows servers, AD, Entra ID, M365, and related infrastructure.
Monitor networks, firewalls, switches, VPNs, and telecom systems; coordinate with vendors as needed.
Coordinate backups, recovery procedures, disaster recovery, and system availability; test recoveries.
Lead a small IT team; assign work, coach staff, and ensure responsive customer service.
Document procedures, diagrams, inventories, and change information; maintain security controls.
