California Franchise Tax Board in Sacramento is seeking an Information Technology Supervisor II to lead a team of Business and Systems Analysts supporting the Taxpayer Folder and ENS applications.

You will coordinate across Technology Services Division teams, partners, and users to resolve issues, define requirements, and guide system enhancements while fostering a professional, inclusive work environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supervising systems analysis teams that support enterprise-wide applications and delivering services within the Software Engineering domain.
• Demonstrated ability to establish, document, and enforce communication roles, standards, procedures, policies, and guidelines and monitor compliance with approved processes.
• Demonstrated skill in prioritizing and coordinating work across Technology Services Division (TSD) teams and business areas; adept at managing multiple workloads and deliverables while setting clear expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with Development teams (e.g., Applications Development), QA and Release management during for release planning.
• Customer service orientation with business partners, including partnering to identify and resolve application, system, and process issues to meet customer needs.
• Ability to develop and present alternatives and recommendations to management based on sound analysis and logical reasoning.
• Experience representing a bureau/department on cross functional teams with divisional, departmental, and/or statewide impact; strong consensus building and cooperation skills.
• Workforce planning and people leadership: setting goals and objectives, evaluating performance, recruiting skilled staff, building training plans, and developing staff to maintain required skill sets.
• Adaptability to evolving IT environments and willingness to support the section manager and peers as needed (including acting as back up), thriving amid changing priorities.

• Coordinate work across Technology Services Division teams, business partners, and stakeholders to resolve issues and support enhancements.
• Represent ETSB in divisional and departmental meetings, providing guidance on system and data administration needs.
• Develop team goals, evaluate performance, recruit staff, and ensure training plans keep skills current.
• Participate in special project teams with statewide impact and contribute to resource planning.
