Job summary

OB Hospitalist Group in Greenville, SC is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support a highly available, secure, and scalable environment across on-prem and cloud platforms. You’ll administer Windows, Linux, virtualization, storage, and cloud services (AWS and Azure), while partnering with cybersecurity, applications, and business teams to ensure reliability.

You will lead upgrades, plan migrations, troubleshoot complex issues, monitor capacity, and help define technical standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT systems engineering or infrastructure
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, and networking
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and security basics
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and improve enterprise infrastructure and SaaS platforms (Windows, storage, virtualization, networking, backups)
• Manage Windows, Linux, virtualization, networking, and cloud technologies
• Develop infrastructure architecture documentation, diagrams, and standards
• Plan/migrate upgrades with minimal business disruption
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, performance, security, and availability issues
• Monitor health, performance, and capacity; ensure operational excellence
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to investigate incidents and improve resiliency
• Evaluate emerging technologies and align with business goals
• Manage infrastructure projects, vendors, budgets, and deliverables
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to IT team
