Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Information Systems, IT or Cybersecurity.
• 1–4 years of audit experience in public accounting or internal audit; entry-level candidates welcome.
• Knowledge of internal audit processes (sampling, testing, walkthroughs) and work paper documentation; CPA/CFE/CISA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing per department and IIA standards with clear documentation.
• Develop audit narratives, conclusions, and recommendations for management.
• Build effective relationships with audit leadership, clients, and stakeholders.
• Prepare concise audit findings and participate in planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
• Represent Wintrust and internal audit at events and projects when asked.
