Wintrust Financial Corp in Chicago, IL is seeking a highly motivated IT Internal Audit professional to join our Internal Audit team. You will assist with audit testing across technology, information security, and digital channels, while collaborating with stakeholders and audit leadership to ensure effective controls.

Qualified candidates hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance and 1.5–3 years of audit experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance is required or preferred.
• 1.5 to 3 years of relevant audit experience in public accounting or internal audit.
• Knowledge of internal audit processes and work paper documentation skills; CIA, CPA, or CFE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute audit testing according to department and IIA standards with clear documentation.
• Document narratives and conclusions during walkthroughs as requested.
• Develop relationships with audit leadership, team members, clients and stakeholders; communicate findings effectively.
• Prepare clear audit findings and recommendations for management review.
