Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Information Technology/Information Security Auditor to join our Internal Audit team in Rosemont, IL. You will perform risk-based audits, test controls, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with various business lines.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office work transitioning to Rosemont, IL, and opportunities to develop auditing skills, participate in testing, reporting, and continuous improvement across core

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, IT or Cybersecurity.
• 1–4 years of relevant audit experience in public accounting or internal audit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with auditing software (TeamMate+) a plus.
• Certification (CFE, CPA, or CISA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing according to department and IIA standards, producing clear documentation.
• Participate in process walkthroughs and document narratives and conclusions.
• Maintain cooperative relationships and assist other project teams when needed.
• Develop relationships with audit leadership, clients, and stakeholders.
• Apply analytical skills to review information and assess control adequacy.
• Prepare clear audit findings and management recommendations.
• Represent Wintrust and internal audit on events and projects.
