Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). The role requires 8+ years of experience in areas such as System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and preparing use and test cases. Responsibilities include conducting walkthroughs of use case documentation and mentoring junior analysts. Applicants should have solid knowledge of Finance Systems and possess background in database querying tools. This opportunity is limited to Green Card holders and U.S. Citizens.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• 8+ years of experience preparing use and test cases.

Position will:

• · Conduct walkthrough of use case and GUI documentation.
• · Contribute to the mentoring of lessexperience Business Analysts on the team.
• · Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• · Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients.
• · Solid knowledge of Finance Systems.
• · Knowledge of TOAD or other database querying tool.
• · Knowledge of the State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE).
• Experience using structured System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) methodologies. -Required - 08 Years
• Experience preparing Use and Test cases. --Required - 08 Years
• Experience developing IT project documentation including use cases/user stories, application requirements, functional designs, and system designs. -Required - 08 Years
• Experience using industry-standard methodologies like System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Project Management Methodology (PMM), and Syst Eng (SEM). -Required - 08 Years
• Experience creating and documenting workflows. --Required - 08 Years
• Experience contributing to Use case/User stories estimates -Required - 08 Years
• Experience with Financial Systems --Required – 08-3 Years
