State of Michigan is seeking an IT Business Analyst for the DTMB-LARA Application Development Section B in Lansing. The junior‑level role supports requirements gathering, user story creation, Scrum participation, testing, and UAT coordination as part of a BA team with mentorship from senior BAs.

The position may be hybrid with two in-office days per week; a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT is required, with related experience acceptable for P11/12 levels. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is offered.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree with 21 credits in CS/IT or related fields.
• Experience equivalent to IT Analyst P11/12 is considered.
• Educational substitutions allowed for P11/12 as described in the job posting.

Mansioni

• Gather requirements and document user stories for the LARA application development.
• Participate in Scrum and other project-related meetings; support testing activities.
• Write test cases and carry out testing; coordinate UAT with supported bureaus.
• Assist with risk assessment, disaster recovery planning, and security accreditation.
• Work with BA team; provide documentation per SOM and AS LARA standards.
