American Family Insurance is seeking a Mobile iOS Engineer for a hybrid role supporting the Omni-Channel strategy. The engineer will focus on self-service enhancements for policyholders and contribute from design through production observability.

You will collaborate with team members on evolving iOS applications, applying MVVM/MVC patterns, and integrating REST APIs and SDKs. Strong automation, testing, and secure coding practices are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing customer-driven iOS applications using Swift.
• Ability to apply iOS architecture patterns (MVVM/MVC) to build scalable, maintainable code.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Translating feature requirements and design mockups into functional iOS code.
• Strong knowledge of modern mobile development lifecycle, including Git, CI/CD, and App Store release.
• Commitment to quality demonstrated by XCTest, code reviews, and debugging in Xcode.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop iOS solutions aligned with Omni-Channel strategy.
• Identify system dependencies and impacts of changes.
• Document design decisions, estimates, code modules, and performance metrics.
• Write and participate in unit tests; ensure code quality and security.
