CornerStone Partners in Charlottesville, Virginia, seeks an Investment Operations Associate to maintain and support the investment book of record. You will work with advanced technology and AI-assisted workflows to capture, record, and reconcile accounting data, reporting to the Director of Investment Operations and Risk Management.

The role requires 1–5+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 1-5+ years of relevant experience in accounting/investment operations or related field; institutional experience preferred.
• Experience with large datasets and multiple platforms; Burgiss/MSCI TPM preferred.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and ability to resolve accounting complexities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with willingness to improve processes.

Aufgaben

• Review and record investment accounting activities, including NAVs and transaction details, using internal tools and AI-assisted workflows, and identify and resolve exceptions / discrepancies.
• Monitor cash activity, subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, and distributions across investment portfolios and reconcile internal and third-party records.
• Build understanding of investment book of record and contribute to maintenance of third-party accounting and performance systems.
• Develop expertise in accounting and performance analytics for alternative investments, especially private markets investments.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, documentation standards, and accounting procedures related to investment operations.
