Job summary

Brookings Institution in Washington, DC, seeks an Investment Analyst to support the Investment Office across data management, portfolio operations, and investment management. The role offers a hybrid schedule with three on-site days and two remote days per week.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years in endowment investing or related coursework, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred, including internships or coursework.
• Demonstrated interest in endowment investing and financial markets.
• Strong attention to detail; excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; reliable and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Data Management and Analysis: manage information flows and prepare investment committee exhibits.
• Investment Portfolio Operations: handle capital calls, update performance data, assist with subscription/redemption docs.
• Investment Management: attend external manager meetings, participate in weekly pipeline meetings, support annual financial audit.
