Job summary

KARL STORZ North America in Auburn, MA is seeking an Inventory Planner to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time. You’ll manage finished goods, balance service levels, inventory, and cost while coordinating with Demand Planning, Marketing, Product Management, Logistics, Quality, Customer Service, and suppliers.

This hybrid role offers a base salary range of $65,700-$85,400 and opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste in a leading medical technology company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–4 years of relevant experience or 8 years in lieu of a degree.
• Strong analytical, organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer and systems skills with data proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply planning and inventory for an assigned portfolio of finished goods.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Marketing, and Product Management to develop demand and supply plans.
• Create and manage purchase orders considering lead times, quantities, pricing, and supplier capabilities.
• Monitor supplier commitments and expedite deliveries as needed.
• Partner with Transportation, Warehouse, Quality, Customer Service, and Accounts Payable to resolve issues.
• Monitor inventory and supplier performance metrics and take action to improve service.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
