Job summary

Eversource Energy is hiring a Material/Inventory Planner in Connecticut to support operation construction, maintenance, and reliability programs. You will manage large SKU inventories across multiple locations and develop detailed material plans to optimize stock levels and replenishment.

The role requires 3+ years of planning experience, strong Excel and data-analysis skills, and collaboration with internal partners to meet material needs and improve inventory performance.

Qualifications

• Three (3) plus years of related work experience as a Material/Inventory Planner.
• Multi-SKU, high-volume SKU count preferred.
• Multi-location management preferred.
• Microsoft Office, Excel mandatory; Power BI experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory across multiple locations with a large SKU count.
• Maintain optimal stocking levels to support business needs.
• Develop and implement material commodity plans for operations.
• Analyze material demand, supply, and replenishment requirements.
• Provide purchasing recommendations based on commodity plans and analysis.
• Develop reports, metrics, and dashboards to support commodity work.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
• Communicate analytics and initiatives to stakeholders.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to identify opportunities and drive decisions.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and follow-up.
