Job summary

Catalyst Brands in Salt Lake City seeks an Inventory Management Analyst to own month-end close activities, analyze discrepancies, and drive cost-saving process improvements within our Finance Shared Services Organization in a hybrid work setting.

You will partner cross-functionally with Finance, Tax, Audit, Merchandise Planning, Allocation, and Supply Chain, build reporting templates, and mentor teammates while advancing operational efficiency and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional accounting or related operational experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data queries and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Research, analyze, and resolve financial discrepancies with root-cause focus.
• Lead or support projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Partner with IT for system enhancements and policy compliance.
• Build cross-functional relationships across Finance, Tax, Audit, Planning, and Supply Chain.
• Develop financial reporting templates and KPIs for leadership decisions.
