Qualifications

Actively pursuing a degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Finance, Business, or related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA and current Junior or Senior status with graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a willingness to network and attend client events.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.

Responsibilities

Observe and assist with risk assessments, pricing evaluations, and relationship management for the MSU underwriting team.
Support underwriting and evaluation of Natural Catastrophe Accumulation and catastrophe modeling.
Learn underwriting concepts in line with governance, Underwriting Authorities and Guidelines.
Learn and use risk selection and pricing tools; assist policy documentation and administration.
Support completion of policy administration and credit control processes.
