Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Interior Design Intern to join our Interiors team in Jacksonville, FL or Atlanta, GA. You’ll support senior interior designers, gain hands-on experience, and develop construction documents using Revit, BIM, and AutoCAD.

You’ll participate in programming, schematic design, and design development while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality interiors solutions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program for Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a FIDER or CIDA accredited program
• General knowledge of current furniture, material and building finish products
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper and other visualization tools

Responsibilities

• Support senior interior designers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Create sample boards and develop detailed construction documents.
• Exposure to programming, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Collaborate to manage multiple projects with deadlines and maintain high level of detail.
