Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an Entry-Level Architectural Designer to shape spaces for communities and clients. You’ll work with experienced teams on planning, design, and construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other tools.

This role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and mentorship, with hybrid work options and opportunities to contribute to sustainable design while building your portfolio and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Active Candidate for NCARB’s AXP Program (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assisting with architectural design, planning, and production of construction documents.
• Developing 2D drawings, 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials.
• Supporting site evaluations, design studies, and project coordination activities.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other design professionals across multidisciplinary teams.
• Utilizing BIM technologies and industry‑standard software to develop project deliverables.
• Participating in design reviews and incorporating feedback into project solutions.
• Supporting sustainable and resilient design initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
