Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Interior Design Intern to join our Interiors team in Jacksonville, FL or Atlanta, GA. You will support senior designers, contribute to a range of project types focused on people spaces, and gain experience from early design through construction documents using Revit, BIM and AutoCAD.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited Interior Design/Interior Architecture program, with knowledge of furniture, finishes, and visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program for Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a FIDER or CIDA accredited program.
• General knowledge of current furniture, material and building finish products.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper and other visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior interior designers and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop sample boards and construction documents as part of design development.
• Support programming, schematic design, design development and presentation phases.
• Collaborate with the team to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
