Job summary

HirexHire, Inc. seeks an Integration Solutions Engineer to drive our client’s partner integrations in Ohio. You will own technical relationships, validate APIs, troubleshoot integration issues, and translate findings into actionable requirements for Product and Engineering.

You will perform hands-on API discovery with Postman or curl, test authentication, and document endpoints, payloads, and edge cases. A product-minded, collaborative technologist thrives here.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in integration engineering or similar technical roles.
• Experience with REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, GraphQL, webhooks, and authentication protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication to translate technical findings into requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with integration partners and manage blockers.
• Perform API discovery and validation using Postman or curl, including auth, pagination, throttling, webhooks.
• Ensure APIs meet product requirements before engineering sprints; identify gaps.
• Create integration briefs and Postman collections documenting endpoints and payloads.
• Partner with Product to shape requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, roadmap sequencing.
• Support Engineering during implementation as SME and coordinate with partners.
• Reproduce and triage integration issues with Tier II Support.
• Maintain internal documentation on HRIS/payroll, TMS, telematics, LMS, job boards.
• Monitor partner API changes and communicate impacts to Product/Engineering.
• Own the discovery process to validate authentication and capabilities before development.
