Job summary

Westwood Insurance Agency is seeking an Inside Sales representative to assist customers with personal insurance needs via telephone and email in a fast-paced call center environment.

You will quote and sell policies from multiple carriers, manage leads, and meet sales targets while providing consultative guidance on coverage options. The role includes a hybrid schedule after training and a commission-based structure to reward performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Team oriented with flexibility to changing priorities.
• Good listening and communication skills (oral & written).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Problem solving and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Quote and sell insurance policies via telephone and email to meet sales targets.
• Use the company sales system to manage leads, tasks, and quotes.
• Evaluate risk to quote and recommend coverage per underwriting guidelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with leads from internal or external sources.
• Organize and prioritize workload to meet team and company goals.
