Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking an Insurance Retention Lead in Providence, RI, with hybrid work options. The Lead Retention Agent will supervise the team, coordinate daily activities, and handle complex retention issues while delivering Five Diamond Service.

The role emphasizes outbound and inbound calls, policy retention strategies, and collaboration with management to meet targets. A valid Personal Lines license and relevant insurance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 4-6 years Insurance customer service/sales experience required or 1+ years in preceding job level required.
• Valid Personal Lines License Required.
• Service Tier Insurance designation Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular duties of Insurance Retention Agents.
• Place outbound retention calls to existing and lapsed insureds.
• Receive inbound calls from at-risk insureds and offer policy rewrites as new products are introduced.
• Supervise and monitor team performance and distribution of workflow.
• Conduct data analysis to identify at-risk insureds and improve retention rates.
• Provide coaching and direction to the Retention team and support training.
