Job summary

Accredited in New York is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead design and implementation of insurance products across commercial and personal lines. You will work with underwriting, actuarial, and compliance to ensure regulatory alignment and market competitiveness.

The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, experience in P&C product lifecycles, and a hands-on approach to form creation, filings, and strategic product enhancements. Hybrid work in NYC is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial P&C product management, product development, or related insurance roles.
• Experience in multi-line commercial and personal P&C insurance.
• Strong knowledge of the insurance product lifecycle, ISO/AAIS forms and rules, and state filing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in the New York office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, and Compliance, as well as external Program Administrators to develop, enhance, and implement insurance products across multiple lines.
• Review ISO/AAIS Circulars, bureau updates, and regulatory bulletins to evaluate impact and coordinate required changes with Compliance and Regulatory Affairs.
• Draft policy forms, endorsements, applications, underwriting guidelines, eligibility rules, rating methodologies, and product documentation for regulatory review.
• Identify and translate claims trends into product improvements, including updates to policy language.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure policy wording changes address issues while supporting compliance and strategy.
• Maintain admitted product materials for regulatory filings and coordinate with Compliance for timely approvals.
• Governance of the corporate forms library, including version control and jurisdictional applicability.
• Oversee onboarding of new programs and lifecycle management of products.
