Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies is seeking a Compliance Manager - Product Development to coordinate new and existing product development projects for Property, General Liability, Auto, Inland Marine, Crime, Farm, Businessowners and Professional Liability. You will lead a team and ensure products are competitive, compliant and aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 10 years of P&C product development experience.
• Five years’ commercial and professional underwriting experience, or strong understanding of P&C products, underwriting principles and market trends.
• Management experience required.
• Knowledge of ISO forms, rates and rules, including bureau filings and system development.
• Familiarity with and ability to interpret rules and regulations in commercial lines bulletins.

Responsibilities

• Works with functional leaders across actuarial, IT, Stat, underwriting and Claims throughout the product development cycle.
• Oversees end-to-end product development, including execution and implementation of product enhancements and new products/programs.
• Prioritizes Product Development projects.
• Manages the product development staff by assigning projects and overseeing work efforts.
• Coordinates with Compliance on regulatory matters impacting independent forms and rules.
• Develops talent and expertise of product development specialists.
• Ensures products meet regulatory requirements and internal standards.
