Job summary

Qualifications

• College degree required; CPCU designation preferred.
• 5+ years in a similar Insurance Coverage role.
• Extensive knowledge of surplus lines and admitted insurance standards.
• Ability to optimize policy wording across lines of business.
• Reinsurance contract wording experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Word, Adobe, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook; AI/LLM a plus.
• Active contributor to ISO Panels or industry committees is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft P&C policy forms and endorsements, including bureau and manuscript wordings.
• Advise on research, creation and maintenance of coverage language.
• Collaborate with underwriting on coverages for product development.
• Align coverage with profitability, growth and retention goals.
• Identify deviations from standard forms and reflect underwriting intent.
• Provide wording alternatives for internal use.
• Guide underwriters and management on wording decisions.
• Mentor colleagues on policy wording issues.
• Stay current on ISO forms, trends, and competitor wordings.
• Develop and implement Admitted Form Filings with underwriting and regulatory.
