You will draft pleadings, briefs, and motions, analyze policies, and provide strategic guidance to clients. The role offers a hybrid work model with substantial responsibility and opportunities for professional growth within a respected national practice.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license required.
• 2+ years of litigation experience in insurance coverage and/or complex commercial litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurance coverage and complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Analyze policies and coverage issues involving sophisticated commercial claims.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and experts.
• Manage written discovery and motion practice.
• Appear in state and federal court proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm on complex litigation matters.
• Mentor junior staff as experience grows.
