International Law Firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group. The role handles complex coverage litigation and market conduct matters for domestic and international insurers, including CGL, property, E&O, and D&O matters.

The successful candidate will have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, California bar in good standing, and 3+ years of civil litigation experience, with strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record.
• Active California Bar in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive civil litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions and recommendations for insurer clients.
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
• Conduct extensive legal research using Westlaw and Lexis.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
• Draft and review pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery, and related documents.
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers.
• Collaborate with partners to advance case objectives efficiently.
