Job summary

Middough Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to collect data, perform detailed calculations, and support field installations. You will work with a larger design team across multiple projects, applying PFDs/P&ID knowledge and NEC/ISA standards.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, with a hybrid work model and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required in engineering discipline.
• 3-6+ years of engineering and design experience in Instrumentation & Controls (or Electrical).
• EIT certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of PFDs, P&ID's, and Cause and Effect matrices.
• Familiarity with NEC/ISA standards.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and organize for project efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare data/information and perform detailed engineering calculations.
• Assist in field work, check installations, and problem-solving activities.
• Interact with other departments and suppliers for information.
• Work on multiple projects as part of a larger design team.
