Job summary

AbbVie OneHUB’s People Excellence team seeks an Instructional Designer to craft engaging eLearning, videos, and job aids. You will work with SMEs and cross-functional partners to develop high-quality learning experiences across media, guiding content from concept to delivery.

Ideal candidates have strong instructional design foundations, modern digital content creation capabilities, and a learner-centered mindset. Remote work is not indicated; onsite collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Adult Education, Communications, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging learning content including eLearning modules, videos, graphics, simulations, job aids, and other assets.
Translate complex information into learner-friendly experiences to support knowledge transfer and performance improvement.
Support project execution by managing tasks, tracking milestones, and communicating status.
Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to gather input and define learning needs and approaches.
Apply instructional design best practices to create effective, visually polished learning solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing learning quality and engagement.
Use contemporary authoring and design tools to build modern learning assets reflecting trends.
Monitor learning effectiveness through feedback and data, identifying improvement opportunities.
Communicate progress, questions, and decisions clearly with the team.
Demonstrate adaptability and collaboration in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
